Flightdeck
I was tasked to work with the product team at Flylance to deliver a timesheet and invoicing portal for their Freelancers and Clients. I wanted to have fun with the theming, which is why you see an Astronaut and Alien everywhere. I went with Material Design for its flexibility. Phase 1
When I began this project, I focused on the (Flylancer) persona. These are freelancers who can onboard the product and submit timesheets for clients. I reviewed multiple competitors and interviewed freelancers like myself to nail down the best approach.
Phase 2
The Client flow was cognizant of all of the areas in which the Freelancer's actions will affect the Client persona. The main objective here was to simplify the payment experience for the Client, allowing them to easily view and pay invoices on the fly. I was able to talk with Flylance's Clients to see how their accounting department currently pays invoices.
